My 67 gto will not turn over it will only click, I have replaced the starter, the alternatior works and has been tested and the battery us fully charged. I am not sure what the problem is I drove the car a few weeks earlier and everything was fine. What could be the problem?

Hi there,

Remove the battery terminals and clean and make sure that they are making a firm contact when re tightened, check the voltage at the starter when cranking, there should be 12V at the solinoid terminal (the small wire) and there should be constant voltage at the mail terminal (heavy wire) if this is so and the starter solinoid is clicking, the starter is faulty, you have checked that the engine is turning over by hand?
