1997 Pontiac Grand Prix 93,684 miles. The key does not always come out of the ignition when I shut off the car. After the car sits for a while it will eventually come out. In the winter when I purchased the car the key came out of the ignition just fine, but over the past two months it does not come out.

Hi there

make sure that the key is not bent, you can use a little powdered graphite is a lubricant, don't use a spry lube as it will tend to gum up things after a while.
