The cruise control on my 2006 Grand Prix quit working. I replaced the 2 amp fuse inside the passenger side door, but that did not fix the problem. I am hoping that I will not need to replace the switch on the steering column and was wondering if there are any other fusses/relays/modules that I could try replacing first that control or affect the cruise control. (The car did also just have the truck lid replaced because it was backed into in a parking lot and the cruise worked before that?)?

Besides the brake switch any door opening or trunk would disable cruise.

I had the same problem, it was the multi function switch. The part itself is $90.00 plus $90.00 to install. The dianostics also cost $90.00. So it cost me $270.00 to get my cruise back online. If I had it to do over I would of installed it myself.

Could be a multifunction switch, but check trunk connection first, since problem started there.
