my brother-in-law mixed anti-freeze with dex cool. he did not know you are not suppose to do this. i want to flush system, but i noticed the pudding like anti-freeze in his radiator. should i flush normally,or shoud i add a cleaner and if so how long should he drive with cleaner in radiator? the car has 175000 miles on it. other than this the car runs fine. thankyou bruce

I WOULD USE THE CLEANER AND REPLACE THE THERMOSTAT ALSO , THE STUFF I USE SAYS RUN FOR 15 MINUTES, OR YOU COULD DO BOTH ADD THE CLEANER RUN THE CAR AND FLUSH
