My car just started stalling when I started it. I finally got it to go and it does the jerking when giving it gas. It acts like its not getting enough gas. Im going to change the filter but I dont know where the fuel system pressure valve is that I need to release the pressure. Is this possibly the problem?

The test port is on fuel rail can be difficult to see depending on engine. It has a small black cap (similar to a tire valve cap covering it).
Check fuel pressure with mechanical gauge.

Are you getting a check engine light? If so take to most autoparts stores (call first and ask if they do this free) and have PCM scanned for error codes.

This could be fuel pressure, sensor failure or many other things, so get it scanned before throwing parts at it.
