2000 Pontiac Grand Prix electrical problem

Lately, the automatic headlights switch does not turn on the headlights and I have to put them on by moving the switch to manual. Also, the air cond, the heater, air or defroster will not work, or will stop working or suddenly go on if left in the on position after working.

The headlight problem is more than likely a sensor that is bad. These sense ambient light and activate the lights. They can be on the dash or in the grill.

The other problem is more than likely the switch that activates the AC,heat etc.
