Just purchased 4 new tires.(Michilen) Prior to the mounting and balancing of these new tires, car was riding relatively smooth. Now with the new ones, at 55mph I feel and hear a flapping or knocking, ( more of a flapping )sensation in the front. Took the car back to my mechanic and said everything looked good with the new tires. They went ahead and rotated them anyway and it is still doing the same thing. I definitely purchased the right size not to mention I paid 115 per tire. Any advice would be extremely helpful. Thanks.

Yes. I purchased them from Sams club. I don't trust their techs so I bring them to my mechanic. He is on vacation. His two techs mounted and balanced them. I'm not suggesting that they did it improperly. When I took it back to them one of the guys put it on the lift and inspected the work and the tires and said everything should be fine. I will take it back to my mechanic when he comes back from vac. But I wanted to see if I could reslove it in the meantime from you guys. What baffles me is the car was riding fine on the old dry rotted tires. They were Goodyear(if that matters). Thanks again for your time and response
