Heater problem
1998 Pontiac Grand Prix Engine Size unknown Wheel Drive Type unknown Automatic 135000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
The heater in my grand prix has decided to stop working. I noticed it while driving that my windows where fogging up, so I tried to turn the blower panel from 1 to 5, to see if it would blow any heat out-which it did not. I could feel some faint warmth from the vent, but nothing would blow out. and the heat that did come out was luke warm if anything. Some people have suggested that it is the heater core or the belt to something and I am not a car person so I'm not sure myself what is going on, but am curious as to if you have any suggestions as to what it could be-so I have an idea of what I'm looking for and what I may have to do as far as steps. Thanks for your time!

you need to check as a 1st step the fuses
if all ok then I would say to look at the blower motor its located under dash and clove box give it a tap if it comes on motor no good check the wires around it
