About a year ago my abs light inexplicably came on along with the low trac light. It used to go off after a while but now it's on all the time. Recently I've noticed my wheel (I think) shakes and it sort of pops when I stop. I replaced the brake pads a couple of months ago and had a mechanic check the codes for the abs. He couldn't figure out specifically what's wrong. What should I do next Please Help!

ABS generates a "C" chassis code, not readable by many low end scanners.

Did he find a "C" code?

There are 4 different codes generated by OBDII.

"P" are powertrain codes.
"C" are chassis codes.
"B" are body codes.
"U" are communication codes.

The "B" code could be many things, ask him what the code was.
