Start by having the car scanned with a chassis scanner. A powertrain scanner will not display "C" (chassis codes).

If no "C" codes, it is most likely a MC low brake fluid switch

I have leaky steel brake lines that need to be replaced.
Hence, the low fluid as you suggested.
Thank You.

When you fix the steel brake line, make sure to use a double inverted flare repair. DO NOT USE a compression fitting, they are not designed to withstand the hydraulic pressure generated by the brake system.

Thanks for using 2carpros. Mmprince4000
