When a information sensor goes bad. The computer will inturn retard the timing of the vehicle according to the info that the bad sensor is giving it. So before we even go foward we need to have that coolant level sensor checked and replaced, because it can actually be the reason why your car is running bad. While that is being done I suggest a throttlebody cleaning and an airfilter change. The throttle plate may be sticking causing a bad idle and driveability problems. I wouldnt panic. As far as the car being ruined. These problems are not indicators of a big problem unless of course the head gasket is blown.
