I have a 1995 Pontiac Grand Prix.I bought the car three weeks ago and all was well. But,now when I try to start it,it doesn't start.I had a diagnostic performed and,it said that I needed a new ignition switch but,I had that thrown on there and it still wont start. My battery and alternator are good so,I cant figure out what is wrong with my car.I turn the key in the on position and my dashboard and all other lights and electricity work but, when I turn the key to start it up,it does nothing.I checked the connections on my battery post and I checked for corrosion but,I found nothing.I kind of think it may be my computer going bad but,if thats the case, the car wouldn't start at all.I think there is a bad wire somewhere in there but,I am uncertain of how to tell.I have to either hold the key in the on position for a long time or use a screw-driver and make it spark from under the hood to get it started now. Please, help Me!?Thanks to all who reply;)

Hello, do you have a theft system on there? Have you tried cranking in neutral? There may be a small purple wire at the starter solenoid, it should be hot with the key in the crank position? Any testing you do at the starter solenoid, make sure the tranny is in park or neutral and the ebrake is set.
