We stopped at a store the other day, and when started to start car to leave it would not start. I thought that it was out of gas, but after putting gas in it still wouldn't start. Fuel pump could not be heard. My husband replaced the fuel pump, fuel pickup screen, fuel filter, wiring harness for fuel pump. When he got through and tried to start it, the fuel pump came on but there was no gas coming out. We took it back to the store and they gave us a new fuel pump because they said that it must be bad. He has now replaced it and it is doing the same thing again. Fuel pump coming on but no gas. Is there anything else? He has been a mechanic since age 16, but had to retire early because of disability. He is at a loss. HELP!!!!
