Engine Cooling problem
1993 Pontiac Grand Prix 6 cyl Automatic

my radiator fluids are getting too hot and smoking bad, it is full and all my other fluids are good. i had a tune up last year in march, and they said the car was good, but the heater hose is rust and it would have to be replaced. is that the problem or what can i do to fix it? i did everything else but i just cant figure the problem out

Do you mean the vehicle is overheating? What color is the smoke coming from the vehicle black, blue, or white.

car is not overheating, everything is registering, its coming out the hose, it doesnt have a specific color to it, it looks like regular smoke. but the car is not overheating

I would suggest replacing that hoses that have rust stains on them. Usually that is a sign of a coolant leak. Pressure testing the cooling system would also be a good way of testing the system. Once all leaks are repaired it would be a good idea to flush the coolant system
