I have 95 Pontiac Grand Am (2 door) and this has been a problem since 2001. I have had the floor pulled up and repaired, the drains cleared and it still leaks.
I would like to keep the car for at least three more years since I have replaced everything except the motor. I might even do this, if I can fix the leak, considering insurance and car payments for a new one.
The last suggestion I received was to pull the dash ~$700.00.
I have purchased a manual for my car but there is no reference to this kind of problem.
Is there any other item to check and is pulling the dash the last resort. If you can give me a hint at where it might be discussed in the car manual that would be awesome.
Thank you in advance for your help.

I also have this problem with my 98 2 door Grand Am. Have looked but cannot find the leak.
My leak is somewhere on the firewall.
