Rough, chugging idle???

I have a 1991 Pontiac Grand Am 2.5 LE automatic trans...130,000 on it. It just had a major tune-up replacing wires, etc...also new battery and altranator.
PROBLEM: when idling in any gear forward or reverse it is very rough...like chugging and sounds like it is ready to stall out but doesn't...idles fine in Park or Neutral...and accellerates fine and smoothly...fluid checks dosen't show any coolant in oil or any mixtures in any of the fluids nor strange smells...
ANY IDEAS? :?:

Thanks!

Wayne

Probably gapped the plugs wrong. It may also be a Vacume problem. See if a hose is cracked or unplugged. also spray carb cleaner around the manifold and see if the idle reacts.
