2004 Pontiac Grand AM, automatic, 78000 miles, 4 cylinder, 2.2, my car ran low on gas and now will not start. it was parked on slight decline (with frt end pointed down slightly). I added some gas and still will not crank. Thought it may have been the battery but it still would not start after been jumped off. What can/should I do to get it started again? Thank you very much for your help.

When you turn key to On, do you hear the fuel pump for a few secs-if so find the fuel filter and replace it, then check the fuel pressure.
