But my question is if I just bought a new one do I need to do anything to it meaning do I adjust anything on it or what? Please I need desperate help

It should look the same as the one you took off. IT is self tensioning so there is no adjustment. The pulley has a nut on it that you pivot the tensioner with a wrench. 3.1 or 3.4 is probably the size motor.

Feel free to post a pic if needed.
