1995 Pontiac Grand Am - 120,000 plus miles - 4 cyl Quad 4 DOHC
Car will not go any faster than 25-30 mph - Sputters/backfires but not smoking anywhere - Rough idle in Reverse or Drive - Strong gas fumes smell in exhaust - I changed the spark plugs, oil and even the fuel filter to no avail. Car drove great until the other day when I put 1/2 tank of gas into car. Could it be bad gas or something else?
