I hear a growling or grinding. When I slow down it sounds like the brakes are grinding but when I take my foot off the brake I still hear the noise, so I had the brakes done and they said the brakes aren't the problem after replacing the pad and rotors the noise is still there, they said it was the transmission. Is this possable. There is no other signs of transmission problems, and with only 35000 miles on it, it seams odd. What do you think? Thanks for any addvise, Andy.

This sounds crazy, but try it. Spray lots of tire shine on the tires where they mont on the rim. Be sure to get both sides. Drive it around a little bit, then see if the noise is gone. If it goes away, you will need a different model of tire to get rid of the noise for good.
