I have a 2001 Pontiac Grand Am, and the switch whichs controls the fan only works on high. All other settings 1-4 will not work. Now the highest setting is going out. If I knew what to look for I could replace it myself. How difficult is it to replace and where could diagram be found?

There is a blower motor resistor that goes under the hood just past the blower motor itself...toward the center of car. It controls the speeds.
Should be a 4-5 wire plug on it.
