2001 Pontiac Grand Am problem
The engine coolant hose came off and the engine coolant all leaked out.
So can we drive the car to a repair place or do we have to have it towed?

NO!
Tow it or replace the hose and refill with coolant. Engines with aluminum heads are very easy to warp without proper coolant level.
