2001 Pontiac Grand Am 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

Ok I do know 100% that i need a bcm that control's the fog lights Is there anyway to bypass it and make the switch work so i don't have to pay over 500 dollars to get it reprogrammed????????

You could run power from an unused circuit in fuse box to aftermarket switch to operate fog lights.

why cannot i use the originall switch? i just disconnect the connector and tie into that is it possible?

I will explain more clearly I want the fog lights to turn on and off with out using the bcm which is not good and use the originally switch

You can use original switch, just isolate that circuit and bypass BCM, directly to fog lights.

Run two wires from switch, power and ground. Power to a switched power source, then to fog lights.

Ground to light ground and to chassis ground.

What happens if I cut dr green and orange wire which goes into the bcm and connect those 2 toghter??? will it work since i am bypassing the bcm will the switch work and light up as well I alsao have access to the back of the foglight relay on back of the fuse box
