Electrical problem
2001 Pontiac Grand Am 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

Ok I do know 100% that I need a bcm that control's the fog lights Is there anyway to bypass it and make the switch work so I don't have to pay over 500 dollars to get it reprogrammed?

You could run power from an unused circuit in fuse box to aftermarket switch to operate fog lights.

You can use original switch, just isolate that circuit and bypass BCM, directly to fog lights.

Run two wires from switch, power and ground. Power to a switched power source, then to fog lights.

Ground to light ground and to chassis ground.
