I HAVE A 01 PONTIAC GRAND AM, I STARTED TO SMELL COOLANT INSIDE MY CAR, AND MY FRONT WINDSHILD START TO FOG UP EVERYTIME I DROVE IT.I LOOKED UNDER MY HOOD AND I SEEN COOLANT LEAKING OUT OF MY A/C RELEAVE VALVE, WHICH CAUSED MY CAR TO OVER HEAT. I WAS TOLD IT COULD BE MY HEATER HOSE. BUT I WANT TO BE SURE THAT THE PROBLEM. THANK YOU

Hi there,

If the heater hoses go through the fire wall before attaching to the heater core, they very well may be the problem, or in fact the heater core may be leaking as well, you will have to pressure test the system, and carefully inspect any hoses under the dash and the heater core if at all visable for leaks.
