2000 Pontiac Grand Am 6 cyl Automatic 150000 miles

In the morning, car overheated. I checked coolant and it was empty so added some after engine cooled and headed to work. After work, i was driving back home and car stalled as if battery ran out everything locked. I did replace battery but then tried starting it and will not run. The inside will turn on but wont start as if it needs gas. THE thing is that tank was full and overheated again. About 6 months ago I replaced both the water pump and gas pump. WHat could it be!
