I was driving down the street and my car died out. The battery light went on. We replaced the battery in the car and then it started; once we tried to drive away the car died out and the ignition locked up. Now when we try to turn the ignition it won't budge and the car won't start. Can you let me know what the problem can be and perhaps a possible solution?

Try having the auto theft deterrent system checked and the shift interlock system.
