I need to know how to replace the passenger front headlight lamp (#9007). Does the whole assembly need removed? From inside or outside to get to the lamp? How do I remove the lamp for replacement?
Thank you.

I'm not positive on your Grand Am without looking at it but.
Most headlight bulbs can be replaced without removing the headlight assembly. You should be able to see (with the hood up) where the wires go into the back of the headlight into the socket/bulb. If you turn/twist this socket counter-clockwise ti will come out. You will be able to see where the old bulb disconnects and snap the new bulb in. Replace it into the headlight and twist it into place. Try not to touch the glass on your new bulb. These bulbs get very hot when they are on and if you leave any fingerprints/oil/ etc on the bulb it will fail (break) prematurely.

Some of the auto parts stores will install it for you if you buy the bulb there.
