Power steering was making a grinding noise yesterday. went to work on it today, all the power steering fluid is on the driveway. Cant see where it leaked out. entire underbody of the car is wet. How do I know if its the pump? how do I find the leak???

Dan, That much fluid on the ground would be a hose leaking. Get something to soak up the mess and add more fluid to the power steering reservoir. Start the car and observe for leaks running down the lines and pump area. It may be leaking too fast to find it so you may want to do a physical check of all the lines for obvious splits. This is easy to do. Here is a picture almost identical to your system with all the extra parts removed so you can see it.

There are other locations that leak as well so keep checking if it's not found right away. Please post back as you need more assistance. Good luck,
