1999 Pontiac Grand Am

Hi, I am looking at purchaseing a '99 Grand Am. Not sure what engine it has at this point. The person selling the car says that the car runs but runs rough. It needs a fuel injector module. Are these parts very expensive and hard to put in. Is it something that I can do myself with basic tools or something that I would have to take to the shop to have done.
Thank you

Fuel injectors are driven by PCM.

I would have car inspected by qualified mechanic BEFORE you buy, it sounds to me that the seller doesn't know what is wrong.

The 99 GA had a small 4 cylinder or the 3.4 V6. The 3.4 had some know problems with ignition coil and wires going bad, so spend a few bucks and get it checked out before you buy.
