Engine Cooling problem
1999 Pontiac Grand Am 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I Had an upper rad hose split on the car. I put a new one on and now i'm having trouble. The coolant bubbles out of the resurve tank and on to the ground when i shut it off. What is doing this and how can i fix it.

Thanks guys

You need to purge any air from system.

Remove radiator cap, start car, let idle, add coolant until radiator is full. After thermostat opens add coolant to full mark, put cap back on.
