1997 Pontiac Grand Am 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 156.00 miles

i had to change the motor.I also changed the heater core at the same time. Now the car has very little heat, the heater hoses are hot but the output is luke warm. Any ideas?/

Are both heater core hoses hot? If so, may be blend door:

Step 1 - A heater cannot operate unless the engine is full of coolant/antifreeze. If coolant level is low check the system for leaks.
