My car has started running very rough, almost llike its on 2 or 3 cylinders. It was suggested that the catalytic converter may be plugged, so i cut the old one off and installed a new one. This made no improvement. Pulled the plugs and found the plug nearest the driver side carbon fouled. Cleaned it and exchanged it with the next plug, this helped minimally. Any suggestions?
Thanks

Any time you have plug fouling, start with a dry compression test and a leak down test to be sure you are dealing with an engine that can be made to run smooth. If all is ok, then you may have an intake manifold gasket that has failed and it is sucking oil in from inside the engine
