Electrical problem
1995 Pontiac Grand Am 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic
Hi
grand am started having the blower fan go out. It was making a lot of noise. and finally I could smell some smoke while it was running.
I inadvertently turned iton while driving. and the car instantly stalled.
Then there was no electric to the interior lights, none of the gauges light up, and the switch does absolutly nothing. The power door locks even stuck closed.
Thought maybe the battery, I charged it fully, and the lights still turn on and shine brightly. I checked the ground, it seems ok. I checked the fuses in the panel by the driver side, they look ok.
Is it possible there is a fusible link or something that might be causing the problem, and if so where might I look for it.
Thanks for your answer
