Hi there,

I would be booking the car in to get a transmission specialist to do a test and report on the transmission, there will be a few test to be done to help determine the cause of this problem, as for the brakes, best check that a pad has not been put in back to front, and that there is nothing loose or a foreign body jammed in a backing plate.
