1994 Pontiac Grand Am new starter now what?

i have a 1994 grand dam. I got a new battery about 3mts ago because it was having problems starting.I then had a new starter put. as of late i have had to start it in neutral one or two times a week. Yesterday i went to start it and it would not start. it tries to start but it wont, it makes noise but does not catch. my dash lights come on i can roll up the windows. but the car won't start. i have gas(1/2 tank). oil and all the fluids. i had the battery checked and it's good to go.
