My question for you is, when I take off, it sounds and feels like its misfiring. but, my bf replace almost everything that could possibly make it do that. He's replaced the coils, spark plugs, fuel filter, fuel pump, and probably more but I don't remember what all hes done to it anymore. But this is how it acts when I drive it: I take off in first when it gets to a certain rpm it jerks really bad, then i go to second and it jerks like super bad, 3,4 and 5th gear do okay but it still has a jerk to it. Even when I drive on the highway it will jerk. I watch the tacometor and it doesnt move when it jerks. I have no clue why its doing it!

its only a 4 cyl, with a manual tranny... that rules out a few things.... sounds like he was on the right track.... is the check engine light on??? also, does it misfire at idle? were the proper plugs installed? should be ac delcos.... also, were they gapped to .035inches??? it may be a bad coil pack, or as easy as a wire not making contract with a plug.... seen that a bunch of times, just need to push the wire into the boot further.... if u have a check engine light, and it had a certain cylinder misfire, we can narrow it down further.
