1989 Pontiac Grand Am
This is my daughters car. She came home from school yesterday saying she had problems starting it at times. The lights, radio, wipers are working. When you turn the ignition, it is barely cranking (sounds like no juice). I hear a little clicking also. Thanks for any input.

Check the battery voltage with a multimeter, should be 11.5-12.5 volts.
If battery checks out clean positive and negative battery posts and positive connection to starter (disconnect negative connection first!) and negative connections to engine and chassis and connection to starter solenoid.
If it still clicks, you may need a new (rebuilt sstarter).
