I have a 98 firebird 3.8 v6 manual trans.
the engine stalls out on me every once in a while..
an example of when it does that is this;
im driving (any gear) bring the rpms up to maybe 3k or so.. then put the clutch in or put it in neutral.. and the rpms drop and then dip below 1k (normal idle for my car) sometimes going to 400 or 500rpm.. the oil pressure also drops too.. and then the rpms either will come back up to about 2k or so.. then go to its normal idle at 1k.. or it will just stall out when its dipping to 400 or so.. it happens quite often.. im not sure what it is.. maybe just a simple tune up? or fuel injection problem? please help!! its caused me to stall out while driving, lose power steering and have a small accident where i need to replace and paint the front bumper and side finder..
