1997 Pontiac Firebird headlight bulbe replacement

How do you get access to the back of the pop up headlight in order to remove the bulb.

You should take off the housing case on the front of the light. Flip the lights up then turn them off by putting it in fog light mode. (Aka should turn off headlights but leave them flipped up, if not then turn headlights where they are flipped up)
then should be couple screws to undo then slide it off then theres the headlight, unscrew what holds the headlamp in and then unplug and replace new one.

I have a 2000 firebird and this is how its done.I know they are differnt generation fbodies. But maybe this is way to do it.
