1995 Pontiac Firebird 6 cyl Wheel Drive Type unknown Manual 100000 miles

Greetings,
We replaced the fuel pump, however, now there is no power at the fuel pump. You can jump a wire from fuel pump to battery and it will start right up. What did I overlook? Would removing alrm system be the cullprit? Thanks for any suggestions.

Check to see if the pump fuse did not burn. Its in the engine compartment in the 1 of the fuse boxes, I says fuel pump and possible that it may have 2. One insed the fuse box also
