1995 Pontiac Firebird 6 cyl Wheel Drive Type unknown Manual 100000 miles

Greetings,
We replaced the fuel pump, however, now there is no power at the fuel pump. You can jump a wire from fuel pump to battery and it will start right up. What did I overlook??? Would removing alrm system be the cullprit? Thanks for any suggestions.

check to see if the pump fuse did not burn.its in the engine compartment in the 1 of the fuse boxes ,i says fuel pump and possible that it may have 2.one insed the fuse box also
