Hi, I bought a new ecm, or ecc module, but my cooling fan ran at the right time before I bought it. Now it doesnt run and I was wondering if anyone knew anything about it?

Have you reprogammed the new ECM that was installed? Was this ECM a brand new item or a used item from a different vehicle?

No this ecm is for this vehicle, and is new from a autozone store. But I took the chip out of the other ecm and put it into the new one, so it should have the same programable memory?

Ok. Have you already inspected the fuse and the cooling fan relay? Does the fan come on with the A/C (if equipped) switched on?

No the cooling fan does not come on if I turn the a/c on. Yes I checked the fuse and its a.O.K. When I hook my actron code reader in, the fan kicks on.

Since the basics have been tested OK, you will need to perform the following tests to determine the cause of this issue.
