I recently installed a fuel pump in my Trans Am, I also replaced the fuel pump relay, and checked all the fuses. The fuel pump will not turn on, when you have the key in the accsories on position, where I should hear the pump sending fuel to the motor. I checked for power going to the fuel pump at the wiring harness connector, there was power going to the pump. If you have any suggestions im all ears

Did you check the fuse by the battery, fuel pump/ecm?

Also, if you have an oil pressure switch in the fuel pump circuit, once you crank the engine enough to bring up oil pressure and the switch closes, the pump will get voltage. The voltage for the switch and the load side of the relay comes from the same fuse.

The info I looked at was for the 5.0 tbi.
