My car always started rough were I would have to turn the key to the on position for 20seconds then turn it to off then crank it 3-4times then it would start. One day it just wouldnt start at all and I noticed there was no fuel coming out of the injectors. So I changed the fuel pump and thought that would solve the problem. But it didnt. Im getting fuel all the way up to the carb but thats it. Could it be a fuel pressure problem or what? I have the V8 305 TBI

Use a noid lite and check for injector pulse. Use a gage and check fuel pressure. Some of the national brand autostores used to loan out a fuel pressure gage. Engine cranking, visually check for spark at the plugs.

Do you have an injector pulse? If no injector pulse look for rpm signal.
