1968 Pontiac Firebird V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

car will not start when car has been running for awhile. changed the starter.and checked all grounds.sounds like the battery has worn down but will start just fine after it cools down

I have heard of a GM hot restart issue. In the old days we would use a ford starter relay, place on the fender well lining, somewhere away from engine block. I can't say that is your problem, just a thought. That purple is voltage from he ignition switch through the neutral switch to the starter.
