My 1990 bonne on cold start the oil pressure is great, once she heats up the pressure drop to nothing & the "check oil light comes up. Now there is oil in the engine, no leaks, & this started happening right after I did an oil change. I was told by a few people I know that work on their oww cars that its the oil pressure switch & that the car is still pumping oil through the engine even though that light is on(I should note also the car never overheats, sounds fine & I drive her for at least another 30 miles before I park her & still she runs great!) I cant afford to get her fixed for about another week ,is she still ok to drive?

If it did not have any oil pressure you would have know about it a while after running it. Check the connection where the oil pressure sending unit is and see if it is loose. if not then i would replace the sending unit. If you hear anything as a tap or any noise comming from the engine I would shut it off. With the guage going up in the morning means there is some pressure, you should get it checked out.
