On my 95 Pontiac Bonneville I replaced the air conditioner compressor and clutch a little over a year ago. Now the clutch wont engage on the compressor. I tested the power coming into the compressor and it is getting power. When it quit it just quit all at once with no warning signs or noises. What could be keeping the clutch from engaging?

You might try adding freon to it, all cars have a pressure switch so that when the freon gets low the clutch won't engage... this is to prevent burning up your compressor... Good Luck to you!
