Problem has been on going since last November.
The gauges start to flip flop, the chimes start to ding, the dashlights (check engine, seat belt, etc) start to flash and then the car loses power. Sometimes all the flashing stops and most times the car just dies. It happens at all speeds from 5 mph to 65 mph (which is just downright scary.) Sometimes it will start right up & other times it has to sit for 10 or 15 minutes.

I have had the battery replaced, the alternator replaced and it has been to several different garages (including the dealer) numerous times.

So far? It's still doing it. I love my Bonnie and don't want to see it go but I can't keep risking the dead at 65 possibilities.

Any suggestions? Thank you . . . .

check the cables going to your starter and/or have your starter checked. It sounds like you may have a major cable/wire causing a short. Also check all your wires/connections that come from your battery (especially ground wires) make sure they are all securely fastened to their proper locations as well as clean and free of breaks in the insulation (covering). Make sure to include ignition related wires/components in your inspection. It could very easily be a spark plug wire that melted onto the exhaust manifold or something of that nature.

hope this helps,
