Engine Mechanical problem
1998 Pontiac Bonneville 6 cyl Automatic

I have a 1998 Pontiac Bonneville and when there is not alot of gas in the tank, the car is hard to start and will just keep cranking before it finally starts. And it seems like my car is sucking up gas alot more than it should. Plus, I don't know how much gas is in the car ever because the fuel gauge fluctuates frequently! Is there some main cause to all of these problems?!

Welcome to the forum. I'd use a gage and check fuel pressure. you might try cycling the key, on and off, two or three times before you crank it, it might help to build pressure in the system?
