1996 Pontiac Bonneville 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

im lookin to R&R the top half of engine but can't seem to get intake off. This is the supercharged engine do I have to remove the charger to pull manifold.

The supercharger is the upper intake manifold on the supercharged engine, so yes it does have to be removed.

I know the supercharger as a whole needs to be removed but I need to know if to remove the intake does the supercharger needs to come off to get some bolts?

Okay, i'm assuming you mean to reach the lower intake manifold then, no the supercharger doesn't need removed. Release fuel pressure, disconnect battery and drain coolant. Remove air intake duct and air cleaner assembly. Remove plug wires and fuel rail. Remove exhaust heat shield and PS pump bracket. Remove drive belt, alternator and alt. Bracket. Remove cable bracket, heater pipes and bypass hose. Remove lower intake manifold bolts and then remove manifold w/ gaskets and seals.

May have to peck on it with rubber mallet if it doesn't come loose after removing bolts..

So it look like to me that I need to remove to supercharger to get to #5and#7
