Hi my name is Peggy Monroe writing to ask that when I crank my car up and let it warm up it Idles High and then when i pull off mashing on the accelarator it halts and jerk. once it catches up it will pull but continues to jerk . Now when i get to the highway stops and pulls off it halts like it don't want to pull but when i get on the gas it ildles down and have to catch up whilr i put my feet on the gas. i have to ciontinue to give it gas in order for it to catch up..

Inspect and test the idle air control valve and EGR valve and test the throttle position sensor and manifold absolute pressure sensor-to include a fuel pressure check.

1995 Pontiac Bonneville----Yes My name is Peggy Monroe writing in responds to your respond on my acceleration problem. And I have had the EGR Valve,Idle control vale and throttle positon, and all the sensors have been replaced as new. When I fiirst crank the car it Jerks and Idles up real high . when I put it in drive to pull off but it jerks and try to cut off and also takes off slowly while im giving it gas. Please help me if possible. ...

Inspect and test all the following listed below. Its long give it shot-top to bottom

Oxygen sensors.
Catalytic converter.
Fuel injectors dirty/sticking.
Mass airflow sensor/Airflow meter.
Throttle position sensor.
Manifold absolute pressure sensor.
EGR Valve
Fuel pressure regulator leaking or defective fuel pump.
False air leakage.
Fuel contamination.
Foul/defective spark plugs.
Open spark plug wires.
Ignition coil/Coil packs defective.
Incorrect ignition timing.
Cap and rotor.
